Delmas Greene found his one-of-a-kind 1960 Alfa Romeo Vignale in a swamp in North Tampa about two decades ago. He cut it out of the weeds with a machete and then spent hundreds of hours and a "tremendous amount" of money restoring it over the next five years. "The owner was tired of paying for storage and let it sit out there," Greene said. "I bought two other Alfa Romeos from him so I could get this one. It's the only one in the world." On Saturday, the hand-built prototype with Italian green paint, white trim and a lipstick red leather interior won "Best of Show" at the 10th annual Sarasota Exotic Car Fest on St. Armands Circle.
