OLD BUSINESS
Minutes:
The minutes of the November 19th meeting were approved as written.
Reports:
- Alfa Christmas Party:
Barry Mann reported on the Alfa Christmas Party which was held on December 3rd. Fun was had by all 61 members present, with a wonderful luncheon presented by the Westin Hotel, the melodious serenades of Johnny Mollica, and another successful “goofy gift exchange,” which brought out the “goofiness” in all of us. Also, everyone enjoyed Carl Fowler’s magic tricks. If anyone would like to see the photographs of the Christmas Party – please contact Barry Mann at bmann@cfl.rr.com or 407-657-4477.
- Bible Baptist Church Christmas Musical Show:
Gladys reported on a wonderful church musical presented on December 17th at the Kissimmee church of our member, Bob Minton. There was an excellent mix of secular and religious music during the evening with exceptionally beautiful voices. The Bernsteins highly recommend that more of our club members attend this concert next year as it is well worth the trip to Kissimmee. Perhaps another dinner outing to get into this year’s Christmas spirit?

Dear fellow members: It has been a pleasure serving as your club’s secretary for the past few years. I have been lucky enough to meet and make many new friends. This is not “farewell” to the club; Bob and I will still be as active as possible, and I will help Howard and Barry with any other secretarial duties they need for your functions, saving Gloria for her pearls of wisdom on the minutes. I am sure we all look forward to a new “view” from Gloria’s eyes each month as our new secretary. Thank you for throwing your name in the ring, Gloria!
Respectfully submitted,
Margo Miller, out-going Secretary
