HR features several separate series, which range from the heart-pumping GTP/ Group C Series featuring GTP prototypes to the Hawk Performance Endurance Series presented by B.R.M., which includes historic production and prototype sports cars.

Presented by the Mid Florida Alfa Romeo Owners Club, Viva Alfa Romeo Car Show 2025, features cars from all over Florida. Visitors can speak with owners and get up close and personal with vintage sports cars. Bring the entire family because downtown Celebration also offers lots of great places to eat or just enjoy a coffee or ice cream. Alfa Romeo and Fiats left an imprint for many who grew up during the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties and today they are affordable collectible Italian sports cars. If you’re the proud owner of an Alfa Romeo, Vintage Fiat or Lancia enter your car in the show, or if you’re a car enthusiast bring the family and enjoy a day filled with vintage Italian sports cars at a wonderful location.
We had a great response to the Alfa race team garage tour scheduled for this Friday. About 20 people have signed up including one new member who just found us on our website (Thanks Richard!) and some members from other Florida Alfa clubs. The weather looks great for this year’s race. It’s not too late to join us.
Our February event will be another road tour and lunch. We will meet up in DeLand, caravan to the Ormond Scenic Loop, and stop to view the majestic Fairchild Oak in Bulow Creek State Park that is estimated to be 400 to 600 years old. Then we will complete the Ormond Scenic Loop and cruise along SR-A1A to Flagler Beach to enjoy an oceanfront lunch at Tortugas Restaurant. Our return trip takes us back through rural portions of Flagler and Volusia Counties to DeLand. Each of the 3 legs of the tour will range from 25-50 miles and take less than 1 hour. We look forward to a variety of vintage and contemporary Alfa Romeo vehicles participating on this scenic tour. Please send me an email titled FAIRCHILD OAK TOUR if you are interested.
Our March event will be a car show inside the Daytona International Speedway. The Spring Turkey Run features show cars, a car coral (with cars for sale), and a large swap meet with hundreds of vendors. There are no classes or awards, just lots of fun for all car enthusiasts. We will have a reserved parking area just for Alfa Romeo’s. The event runs from Friday- Sunday March 22-24, 2024. You can come and go all weekend, but Saturday would be the primary day to meet up. The cost is $50 CASH at the gate plus $10 per car for the reserved parking area. Please send me an email titled SPRING TURKEY RUN if you are interested.
More details about both of these events will be forthcoming. I would like to plan an event in April on the northwest side of Orlando, perhaps to the Lakeridge Winery. If you know that area and can suggest some good roads or interesting things to do along the way, please contact me.
